Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Do not recommend wasting your time and money here. Most of what is for sale is not handcrafted like you are led to believe and is horrendously overpriced. As others have said, we were followed around by an attendant waiting for us to make a purchase, and looking back now, the items we were given were not those on display but came from out the back. After a quick google search, we found one of the bangles for sale on a cheap Indian jewellery website for less than a quarter of what we paid. I don’t mind paying a bit more to the locals at times, but I’d be very surprised if this place supported any of the local silversmiths. Rather they receive the bulk of the tourists funnelled here by drivers for commission and sell poorly made products at extremely inflated prices.
I’m so disappointed we didn’t get to see and support the local silversmiths as we’d hoped. We spent AUD$580 buying silver bangles, and less than a week after purchasing one of the “solid” bangles has snapped and is a hollow tube. The most disappointing experience of our trip to Bali.

My friends and I had a blast in here. One friend is obsessed with jewelry - so myself & another got pulled too.
Well we were all inside forever!! Huge selection. Beautiful items. Quality items marked for sterling silver, etc… The ladies were persistent BUT respectable. Prices are negotiable to some degree (they respect the quality item they sell and will not go too low). I ended up purchasing 2 items ( weeks later- no regrets!) my friend got a ring, and our obsessed friend got 5 rings. I have allergies to certain metals and will get a rash wearing crap stuff—> my bracelet & ring do NOT bother which means they are of good quality. Would recommend. 😂

Awful customer service and poor quality. Gave me a bad impression of the store and I was appalled with the way I was spoken to. Wasted money on jewellery unfortunately. I recommend shopping elsewhere as there is nothing positive I can say about this shop

Our driver suggested we come here as I expressed that I wanted to do some shopping. I really enjoyed being shown through the work room and how the silver jewellery is made. We were then escorted into the shop and purchased some lovely jewellery. The prices were much cheaper than here in Australia. We were given a 30% discount. The shop is air conditioned and has clean amenities.

Bali was a port of call when we were on a Princess cruise in November. We hired a private driver to take us around for the day. One of our stops was Sari Dewi. We walked through an area were artisans were making jewelry before entering the very large jewelry store. Our daughter wanted a bracelet from Bali. So, I was on a mission! Time was short but I found a beautiful bracelet and a ring for me in record time. I wish I had more time to explore all of the beautiful jewelry and gifts. Bargaining is a must to get a good deal.

We had little choice as the driver of our hired car decided to take us to this outlet. It's huge, typically touristy, boasting a large inventory. Apparently, prices are fixed according to design, not the weight of silver - that sounded just wrong to a person from India where jewellery is sold by weight + an additional charge for crafting. Also, the lady at the counter discounted a pair of earrings I liked from USD 258 to USD 95 in 2 mins flat! Why print such inflated, exorbitant prices if you're willing to offer such crazy discounts?
There are tons of smaller silversmiths along the way. You'd be better of visiting these establishments. I'm sure the work is just as good.
Sari Dewi is highly avoidable.

Early January when in Bali we went to this jewellers. I got a lot of retail therapy approx. $1100AUD. The pieces were just beautiful. Unfortunately after having only worn my bracelet once & it was a $700AUD bracelet, the locking catch broke & I cant wear it anymore. Without having to make an international phone call I have been trying to contact these people on line to no avail.
Can anyone help?
I'd rather give a positive review than not - but will wait to see if my issue is rectified.

We visited Sari Dewi on the recommendation of our Taxi Driver on the way from the airport to our hotel.
Prior to purchasing silver and gold items its worth getting an update on the market price for silver and gold.
At the time of our visit silver was trading at US$0.46 or AU$0.65 per gram. Any additional cost beyond that is down to the craftsmanship and what an individual is willing to pay.
Upon entry visitors are shown the girls working and manipulating the silver into various items. I watched a girl manipulate small straight pieces of silver into the center of a small circular piece of silver. The outer piece had clearly been pressed out from a sheet of thin silver using a die as the same outer piece was on the bench in big numbers. The finished unit had a very low weight but was offered to us with a 40% discount. The actual price was almost AU$100. I would be surprised if the cost of the silver in this item would exceed AU$5. Not a very good investment for a mass produced item available all over Bali.
At this point we had seen enough and walked out. Our store "minder" walked out with us and spoke to our Taxi Driver. It was clear he was telling him that we didn't make a purchase.
No Taxi Driver kick back this time.

You enter through a small workshop and get the quick backstory of silver and how is jewelry made. Next, you walk into a large shop with lots and lots of lovely stuff. Good luck not buying anything ;) Also, the place is wheelchair accessible.

Bought a couple of pieces here and was disappointed when one of the bracelets broke in half after wearing only once. Sent email with photos and got in contact with them and they said to come back in. Went a few days later and picked another piece which was more expensive for no extra money. Was really impressed with the customer service!
