Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is a large area and I could cover only part of it over a day. The most exciting part was to climb up the stairs of the longest mountain alley in the world (239 m long, 0.33 - 0.8 m wide and 80-120 m high on the sides), the Tianyi Alley. It was so narrow that only one person could get through and with some difficulties, hence it was basically one way as it was too narrow for a person to pass another.. When one passes the first T junction after the entrance, one should take the right-hand path to go up the mountain. After climbing the narrow alley one should take a left turn to come down from the mountain. On the way, I kept asking the other tourists to go the right way, else they might spend over an hour going up the mountain on the wrong path, only to find that they could not readily come down by the narrow alley. The other part of the Lang Mountain Resort was the Bajiaozhai Mountain area. It was foggy but it made the scenery more dreamy. It was an exciting experience to visit the mountains and to climb up the Tianyi Alley, but the trip was quite tiring.

This is clearly a beautiful spot. Amazing on a clear day and ok on a patchy day. But if you're planning a visit and the forecast is rain or cloud then it really is best to save your money and time and wait for a clear day.

Three highlights are the views of course, then there's the spot where you can stand on both Guanxi Zhuang Province and Hunan Province at the same time. Finally two nice temples, Yuntian is very genuine and quaint. And behind it another smaller shrine. Very rustic not touristy at all.
