Very nice addition to the community. nice for exercising and getting your daily walk. A few spots to go do some extra workout activities too. The real plus of the location is the scenic area down by the river. Very nice.

Good place for picnics, playing or excersicing. Has covered area with tables and seats for picnics then you can walk around the park or hike the trails. Play ground for the child's or excersice equipment for adults.

This park is the heart of our community and a great place for all kinds of community gatherings. The most recent one we attended was the Canada 150 Celebration. Loved it.

The park could also use a kiddie pool and some water fountains. It has a kind of cheap look to it. Also, the adult exercise equipment is inadequate for most training programs.

We walked the riverfront trail and looped around the wetland at the east end on our way back. The groomed part of the park was very well maintained and the trail through the willows along the river had lots of birds. The wetland was pretty...More
