Overview
More
The Vanderhoof Museum is a collection of six historic buildings from Vanderhoof and surrounding area. We are open to the public to learn about Vanderhoof's history! Stop by the historic (and still operating) OK Cafe for delicious homemade pie and lunch. The Visitor Centre is located in the Board of Trade Building, which was historically used as a community gathering space. Grab some WIFI, brochures, and check out the local art for sale. A large RV parking lot and 1.5km interpretive walking trail are located on site.

I love going to museums and see old stuff. I love reading and knowing the history included in every antique item. I appreciate the simple life before and I’m amazed how the houses or furnitures look before world wars. If you want to unwind with...More

Can walk around and see everything up close. Liked the old telephone switch board and telephones, as well as the old banking cage and memorabilia.

We stopped here to see the tourist information centre and discovered more to see then expected. They have set this area up quite nicely and we spent some time exploring the grounds, and picked up a treat at the restaurant there.
