I walk up here regular only reason it's very local to me, I can't imagine how much it cost to put the thing there, and ive been told the council recenty paid £20,000 on fixing the lights which are broke again, That money could go...More

Nice to find something a little different in Lancashire. We drove up but it would also be a lovely walk. I bet it looks very impressive at night when it is lit up with blue lights.

We used visit the halo quiet frequently but sadly things have gotten worse. Pot holes all up the lane like being on the Big Dipper. Full of takeaway rubbish and full of yobs who smoke cannabis, drink alcohol and even seen one couple having sex...More

The place is everyone's rubbish dump! the lane up to it is dangerous and full of pot holes, not a nice walk for the family, could have a lot of potential if it was looked after

Gorgeous panoramic views of Rossendale on a sunny day, with Burnley and Manchester at either end in the distance. The Halo looks like the skeleton of a space ship! Limited free parking, as mentioned in other reviews. I imagine it would be a lovely place...More

I love visiting the Halo with its wind powered blue LED lights that light up after dark. It looks like a glowing space ship. It is part of a set of 5 sculptures in East Lancashire. Great place to take the kids.

I think they are programmed to come on at dusk, as it gets dark. We were then around sunset, when they started to come on
