After paying the 2$ entrancefee you will see the beautiful blue lake with its green surroundings lying in front of you. It is perfect for swimming since the water is crystal clear and not too cold. For the woman: wearing a bikini is not allowed as it is a sacred lake, so wear shorts and a t-shirt.

This crater lake in Banlung was a pleasant surprise and a lovely treat for myself and my husband and two kids. We took a tuktuk there but you could get there by bicycle. It had a nice dock which we could jump off of and we did so with many local kids and families enjoying too. Be aware that this... More

I always make sure to send my visitors to the lake. It is simply beautiful and the tampoon community are maintaining it properly and making sure the forest is well taken care off. No fishing in the lake and no one is allowed to throw rubbish, which is rare in the region. The best thing about the lake is the... More

It's a pretty lake, you can swim in, but it's just a lake at the end of the day. $2 for foreigners to go to it

This spot is a fun place to hang out and swim. The water isn't cold, and the atmosphere is very chill. You can rent life jackets and supposedly inner tubs. Alcohol and loud music isn't technically allowed but when we went people had it anyway.

The lake is nothing super special, and they charge 10 times more to foreign for almost nothing. Is only 5km from city so quite easy to arrive by bike
