In celebration of our Wedding Anniversary, we wanted to do something special so we took the 25-minute 12 Apostles to Bay of Islands flight giving us a bird’s eye view of the rock formations to truly appreciate the beauty (especially Bay of Islands), which was very impressive!! Blake was a great pilot and very knowledgeable about the area. Despite being short staffed due to Covid, the staff were friendly and professional. For extra $$ you can get a copy of your flight in USB. The whole experience was truly impressive and would highly recommend it.

We drove from Warrnambool to the 12 Apostles and made the impromptu decision to see how much a helicopter flight would be over the apostles. We decided to book into the next flight ($145pp for 15min flight). We are so glad that we did. It was a beautiful clear sunny day. Each passenger has a headset so you can hear the pilot identify the different landmarks. We were on the flight with 2 other couples. If you get the opportunity, we would highly recommend you do the flight over the apostles.

A thrilling ride in the smaller Robinson R44 chopper, it's like a flying bubble, over some of the prettiest scenery in Australia. Our pilot Tash gave us a good description of the many rock formations, coves and islands along the coast. Took lots of photos. The helicopter base is right at the 12 Apostles car park and I bought a ticket on the spot in the afternoon when plenty of people were there, and took the basic $145 ride. The chopper runs close to the coast almost to Peterborough, then flies back a bit further out from the shore, I guess to keep the flight tracks separate in busy times. You also buy a video USB of the flight for $45. Most of the flights were the bigger choppers with 7 passengers, mine was in the baby chopper with 3 passengers. Great fun.

There are Twelve Apostles reef rocks standing on the beach of Australia's Great Ocean Road~
The sea is vast and the coastline is very long. It is not practical to appreciate the rocks from the land!
We took a 16-minute helicopter ride and circled along the coastline, admiring the coast and the Twelve Apostles.
The helicopter is very beautiful and safe. Each trip carries 7 passengers, including the captain and 8 switchboard personnel.
I was sitting on the right side of the captain, overlooking the entire journey from the middle of the first row. The scenery was extremely beautiful~
Helicopter tour of the 12 Apostles on the Great Ocean Road with beautiful scenery, highly recommended~

We did the 1 hour tour with a wonderful weather. It was very very very beautiful. The 25 minutes tour is a minimum. Our helicopter has 3 passengers, some have 7 passengers (maybe too many to take photos and videos). We were only 2 so it was perfect. Booking in advance is a good thing

Despite being short staffed due to Covid, the staff were friendly and professional. We did the 25 minute 12 Apostles to Bay of Islands flight which was perfect having explored the area the previous two days by car. Nick was a great pilot and knowledgeable about the area. The whole experience was fantastic and would highly recommend it.

We had perfect weather for a 25 minute flight over the Bay of Islands. Tash was our pilot who was extremely well informed about the 12 Apostles. Although very busy our experience was seemless. Loved every minute of our flight and would recommend this experience to locals and visitors alike.

went on the 1 hr flight and it was awesome. The staff where professional and personal. Felt safe and looked after from my first contact to the flight. Pilot had great knowledge of the area. If I’m ever back this way I would do it again. Great value for money. I highly recommend. The only thing I would say if your solo give them a call a few days prior and they will assist in getting you on a flight, you can’t book for 1 online.

Although very busy, the crew at 12 Apostles was well organised and got everyone through asap.
Excellent aircraft and we really enjoyed the info from pilot Tash throughout the flight.
Highly recommend at least the 25 min trip for a great experience.

This was an unexpected and worthwhile highlight. The 15 minute flight gives you an incredible view of the famous rock formations. It was super windy and you could not tell at all during the flight. The souvenir video is also amazing. Highly recommend.
