This isn't the coolest thing I saw in China but interesting nonetheless. There are some captivating things to see and the views from various buildings on site of the riverside town are fantastic. Also impressively lit up in the evenings.

This is a group of mountain side temples on the right bank of the Wuyang river in Zhenyuang. There are Buddhist, Confucian and Taoist temples. The site offers a breathtaking view over the ancient Ming town. There is also a small interesting museum at the foothill and a former assembly hall where currency exchange was handled. A must. In old part of Zhenyuan, built into rock, beside river, interesting design and history, nice scenery, ticket costs 60 rmb

The Qinglong Cave is in fact a temple complex built on the cliff face, it includes a few very small caves. This place would be mostly of interest to those that enjoy Chinese architecture, religion and mythology.
