We were on our honeymoon trip in Melbourne and it was a wonderful day with Craig.

We took the metro from the city and Craig met us at the Lilydale station. We started by having a cheese tasting session with 8-10 kinds of cheese in a local cheese house. Love the cheese and the friendly staff there.

We then headed to Yering Station, the oldest winery in the region, for the first round of wine tasting. We were presented with some outstanding sparkling wine (which in our view were as good as champagne and we brought two bottles back). The reds and whites were more of personal preference but they were also amazing.

Next we went to Chandon for a wine-paired brunch. Absolutely love the environment and the wine there. They are not ordinary sparkling wine - they are the naughty boys in the traditional family - creative fruity sparkling wines. We liked them so much that we had a hard time thinking which one to bring home (thanks for the tips Craig).

Since we were the only customers in the tour, Craig was very nice to allow us to choose where to go next. We decided to visit the Yering Farm (the Apple cider was the highlight) and the chocolate factory (Craig managed to get us to a private chocolate tour). We love the chocolates and think they tasted much better than Koko Black.

And this wasn’t the end of the tour! Craig brought us to a secret place for the wild kangaroos and we saw a big family of kangaroos there.

Throughout the trip, Craig had been professionally explaining the history and climate of Yarra Valley - eg how this led to the growth of the winery industry, how the climate could impact the grapes. We enjoyed the tour for it not being just a get-drunk trip but rather a trip to appreciate and treasure the land through the tour.

We would like to add that Craig was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he took every possible step to make the Yarra Valley experience golden. We definitely recommend everyone to join Craig’s tour. Taking the metro to Lilydale station was straightaway and everything was smooth even for foreigners like us.

Thank you very again Craig. We had a great day and we will be back!

Neither Ray nor I can put into words the excitement of our amazing day, all thanks to Craig. We had no idea that the entire 'expedition' would also include an explanation about history, climate, culture and more. Just an amazing day that we 100% recommend if you get the chance and are deciding which company to go with. Thanks Craig. 5 stars.

Great small group tour with a lot of variety. Kurt the driver/guide was extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and took time to engage with all the guests. Highlights for me were the Chandon winery and Choclaterie which were amazing. Highly recommend if you want more than wine tasting!

-Craig is one of the best hosts you can find, friendly, attention to detail, drives safely. You can feel the spirit of hospitality in him. And whats better than having a Yarra local to take you through the tour?

-12pm departure, you can go get brunch, take a walk in the city or sleep in before you go

-Quality stops, some of the finest wines, chocolate and cheeses in the state. Also great scenaries along the way

Overall a good mix of itinerary, strongly recommended

Fabulous Wine tasting tour and more, in the beautiful Yarra Valley. Brilliantly organised, super guys (Craig and Kurt) and a chance to meet a few new friends in a small group.
Chandon is stunning, but all venues are charming. Start your day tasting cheese, then sparkling Chardonnay, then visit infamous Chandon before half an hour in award winning Four Pillars Gin distillery. Finish off in a rustic private family winery drinking superb wine….and cider! Can’t recommend the tour enough! 5 , no, 10 stars!!!

We joined the tour as while we love to taste and drink different wines, we prefer to have an easy tour that including sight seeing and outdoor adventure (we saw the words "live kangaroos" on the website). This tour topped everything - starting from Craig, our tour guide - driver, wine advisor, and great Aussie bloke who made our tour wonderful.
On the way to the Yarra Valley (while he was driving), he gave us (3 of us plus other 5 passengers) a great story of local Melbourne history (starting from Melbourne Exhibition building, Melba, Opera, Lygon St....), it was a big bonus plus.
Craig made the trip fun and enjoyable (not to mention my wife won the prize for his "quiz question"). The 2 wineries that he took us were excellent: wine, service, environment. We learnt a lot about wine. Luckily, we chose his tour, as we went to the Chocolate factory as well as the famous cheese farm where we enjoyed both unique Aussie specialties. It was a great arrangement - not too heavy on drinks and very educational too. We learnt a lot.
The last bit of "live kangaroos show" on the local golf course topped the trip, as we were only 2 metres away from the herd, the animals were friendly. They were relaxing on the golf ground looking at us - thinking "here come some human beings". Apparently, this Kangaroo tour can not be found in other trips. We had a great special treatment. The best of the whole tour is that we were picked up (next to the National Gallery (end of Russell St) at 12 pm and we finished at 7 pm. This arrangement is a lot better than other similar tours which start at 9 and finish at 4 pm. Reason being - as tourists, we prefer later start (we wake up around 9 am) and the food arrangement was not heavy at all, plus, 2 wineries plus 3 other sightseeing was the key....not too heavy on drinks, great Aussie experience and of course, the wonderful Craig.
A big thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!

The trip was incredibly enjoyable! Our group was small, consisting of just five guests, including myself, and we had a great time chatting and sharing laughter. Graig, our guide, was not only a friendly guy but also a knowledgeable local from Yarra Valley who shared fascinating insights about the area and took us to the best spots to see kangaroos. The wine was exceptional, the scenery breathtaking, and I absolutely adored the chocolate factory. Towards the end of the tour, we were fortunate to encounter many friendly wild kangaroos. Graig provided me with valuable travel tips, and I'm truly grateful for that. If you have only half a day to explore Yarra Valley, and you want to do some wine tasting, meet a local, and have a wonderful time, this trip should be your top choice!
