A picturesque boat ride with opportunities to swim in crystal clear waters and enjoy fantastic views of both the ocean and the coast. Take a snorkel and a cool box with drinks, sit back and enjoy. Visited in July and we were 1 of a...More

We visited this place as part of an excursion trip from the hotel. The lagoon is in the middle of the town and overrun by locals. The lagoon itself is small and full of wooden boats that take people out to the sea for sightseeing....More

I did not like it. Very basic and not much to see. We sailed through smelly water and did not see anything other than birds in the trees.

Ask them to take you see the Corals and if you have a chance ask for a guy named Sigfrido, he is the best, he would take you to the nicest places to seee.

Went on a boat ride. Amazing birds. The lagoon lead you to this breathtaking entrance to the sea where you can visit caves and other beaches. Just lovely!

We were in the area and thought that this would be a nice place to visit, the reviews were good for it. The tour on the boat included a trip to a beach that we had already been to before and hadn't liked so we...More

The tour is amazing! If you go to Río San Juan your have to do this experience. They take you to beaches that you would know of if you don't do the tour.

Loved the colour of the water! It was pretty cool to swim in the lagoon/cave. There were some fish and some people were jumping off the rocks into the lagoon. Beautiful spot. We visited here with a tour and it is a must see spot.

Visited as part of the Brianda Playa Grande VIP tour. Fun short excursion, with some historical background provided by the tour guide. If you were paying for just a chartered boat to take you through the lagoon canal into the ocean, I would pay no...More

No, not at all. You can simply look at the lagoon; you do not need to go in. There are a lot Of rocks so you can always stand on a rock with your feet in the water or near the waters edge if you want to get a picture... More

We didn't use a tour company. We drove there from Puerto Plata and you can buy a ticket at the booth by the lagoon. We went on a wonderful boat trip and had a nice lobster lunch by the beach. The beach was crowded though, so... More
