We went on the first summer trip of their season. When we arrived we didn’t realise we were going to go onto the island and we weren’t sure about getting on and off the boat.
The team made it easy to get on and off and even provided chairs and umbrellas.
Overall it was a nice trip but it was made much better by a young lady named Mel. She checked in on us constantly, added humour and provided information about the island. The whole team was busy the entire day and went through a lot of effort to ensure it was run efficiently.
We look forward to coming back in whales next year.

What a fabulous company! Friendly, accommodating and sooooo knowledgeable.
So many whales and amazingly close up.
Not overcrowded , could move around the boat easily.

Brilliant experience - we were on the final tour of the season so I was worried we wouldn't e see any whales, but we spotted several mums and their calves. The commentary throughout the trip was engaging and enlightening. Would love to go again during peak season. The boat seemed very packed when we boarded, but everyone had a chance to see the whales each time some were spotted. The lunch was great too!

What an absolute pleasure this cruise was! The crew were so lovely particularly the bar person who was so accommodating even hand delivering the kids their 2 minute noddles while we enjoyed a beverage on the deck. The vessel was very comfortable and accessible for my child with some mobility / balance issues. The captain did an amazing job finding pods for us to view. Breakfast and morning tea was lovely and kept the nibbles away. Would highly recommend to others and absolutely go again. In fact I met two locals on board who are regulars on their ship as their preferred tour and vessel in the region! Can’t go pass a local recommendation!
**accessibility: One of the better small vessels for accessibility, ramps all through the lower deck, not sure a standard wheelchair would be able to fit through the walkway from stern to bow though. Access to level 2 and 3 has stairs. Toilet has hand rail but is the usual low marine seat, would not fit a chair.

This was a wonderful cruise. The boat was the perfect size for us - not huge but big enough to move around in. I have some mobility issues and it was very easy. The staff were all brilliant, very helpful, very happy and knowledgeable. The captain gave very detailed information where and when appropriate and managed to avoid trying to make jokes or dubious analogies. He spoke to us when necessary and left us in peace the rest of the time. A good lunch and an extra surprise bonus for those of us who booked directly! My only complaint was that the music was too loud - why do we even need music? I mentioned it to one of the crew and it was turned down immediately and they checked to see if grumpy old me was satisfied. Great work and lots of whales.

Was a great afternoon relaxing on the very comfortable boat. The weather was a bit rough but everyone enjoyed the trip.
Plenty of mother and calf whales to be sighted. The captain was very knowledgeable about the whales which added to the experience.
The food, drinks and service by all staff was brilliant.

We had an absolutely amazing time. The boat is so well set up and allows all passengers to comfortably view the whales from both upstairs and downstairs. The crew were wonderful - so well organised and nothing was too much trouble. Lunch was perfect. A great day.

Hi, We are looking to book an afternoon Whale Watch with you, unfortunately we cannot see any afternoon slots. We are looking at either Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th August or Monday 29th August.
Do you have any availability?
We are stopping in Noosa Heads, therefore the journey will be approx 2 hours, hence the morning slot is too early for us.
A family of 5
Alternatively do you run any option near Noosa Heads?
Kind regards, Joanne

Hi Joanne, we have afternoon cruises available daily from the 24th of July through to late October. 2pm departure with a 6pm return. August is a great time to see the whales. Sorry. No pick up or cruises offered by us from Noosa. It is an approx. a 2.5 hour easy drive, but can be quicker depending on traffic. We have economically priced family packages. feel free to ask more questions. Virginia Whalesong Cruises

Can you book a table if you have a time limit & what time does Dinner service start ?
WhalesongCruises

Apologies as I did reply to this question some time ago. Unsure why it did not post. The Seafood@Sunset Cruise is a Finger Food menu where crew walk around & serve a substantial amount of freshly prepared Hervey Bay Seafood & non Seafood items to guests where ever they may be on board the boat. Service starts soon after the boat departs the marina. You can definitely book in advance, but we are sometimes pre booked for Private Functions or affected by weather conditions.
