Turtle Feeding
Oct. 2021
Great little place to spend an hour. The turtle feeding was the highlight. They also loved a pat, and would keep swimming to you for touch. The aquariums were interesting with all the different fish.

Turtles are amazing, but not wheelchair/disability friendly
Aug. 2021 • Business
The turtles were amazing and well worth going for. When it came to offering knowledge and information the staff member was great. Unfortunatly the experince was negatively affected by not just that they do not accept Companion Card but that he argued that many with disabilities don't need it and support workers should just accept that entry fees are a work expenses. Companion cards are, just like disability parking permits, government issued on the medical examination of a health care professional. It is not anyone's right to decide who looks disabilied enough to have one or not. They are for people with disability that can not access the community alone, and thankfully 99% of businesses understand that its unfair for a person with disabilities who requires a support person to be with them to access their community to pay double or to ask a worker to pay out of their wages. Even if they don't do a free pass they do a 50% discount etc. As a Support worker I have had to support different people to access our local aquarium 4 or 5 times a week, thankfully they accept Companion Card or I couldn't afford to take clients and they would miss out! As a Support Worker I'm not there to enjoy myself and have fun, I'm there to work and ensure my clients have fun and have access. If you, as a business, decide that you don't want to accept Companion Card, fine. But please be careful on who you share your opinions to regarding it. It was a very uncomfortable situation.

Great Aquarium In The Heart Of Hervey Bay
Aug. 2021 • Family
We had a great time at ReefWorld. Staff made us feel welcome straight away and offered so much information and happily answered any questions we had. We fed the turtles and the sharks and highly recommend planning a visit around the feed times.

Informative and friendly staff
Jun. 2021 • Couples
Spent a couple of hours in the aquarium with lunch in between at the neighbouring Waterfront restaurant.Staff gave us valuable information about the coral displays and the various fish and sharks in the tanks.
In the morning we were able to feed the turtles, and after lunch we fed the turtles[again]and the sharks. The children there enjoyed patting the turtles, who came immediately when food was offered.
We enjoyed our visit here!

Good for families
Dec. 2020
I really enjoyed this place and got to feed the turtles, however they had a package deal where you have entry and get a food voucher for the restaurant next door, was very disappointed to arrive and see that the restaurant was closed. There had been nothing on the website, so then we had to find somewhere else to go for lunch.

Small aquarium that small kids will love
Mar. 2021
Small aquarium with a centre cyclinder aquarium and smaller tanks, there's a touch water tank of hermit crabs and star fish, a tank of small turtles and an outdoor larger area that has large fish and big turtles. TIckets are $20 adults and $10 children. Feeding times for children to feed the outdoor turtles and get a chance to touch their shell. Spend 30mins to 1 hour here but wonderful experience.

There's a children's park nearby to enjoy afterwards and cafe.

Great little aquarium
Jan. 2021
We enjoyed a visit to Reef World on our recent trip to Hervey Bay. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and clearly love what they do. It’s not huge but It was a nice way to spend an hour or so out of the sun. My teens loved feeding the turtles.
