Most people might not appreciate the significance of these catacombs. There are three branches that guide will let you walk in, rest are close for preservation purposes. Very interesting to see baby tombs and family ones, quite unique. From catacombs take a hike down to...More

You cannot trust somebodies 'review' or judgement - This is my personal opinion. You are your best judgement. You are unable to see any remains in the catacombs, the experience was short but interesting for the time we did spend down in the catacombs. For...More

This is a well preserved exhibit and very interesting. Great information from the guide, who is willing to assist with questions. Combine with the Theatre up the road and then have dinner or lunch at Methismeni Politeia up the road!

I love this island, and the ancient buildings of rock. The Catacombs can be viewed from the water by kayak, or by parking and walking down the hill to the entrance with a short guided tour.

Only average but nice to see. Entry is possible only with a guide. Accessible part of catacombs is really small. Free parking is available.

These catacombs are said to be 2nd only to those in Rome. Well I'm no expert on catacombs, but I was a little disappointed. We took the bus from Adamas to the Catacombs stop and then walked mainly downhill to the catacombs. It was only...More

The catacombs do not have good interpretation although the staff work at it. Its interesting and represents an important part of early Christianity. Its worth a look.
