We gave my granddad a visit to Gentofte Brandmuseum for his 80th birhday, and it was a great success. The museum is very well-kept, with much and well-organised equipment to show. Additionally, we had booked a private tour with Anders, who was excellent at sharing...More

A nice little fire museum located at an old fire station which closed in 1939. The entrance is free. It is only open on Wednesdays 10.00-14.00.

Fine old genuine and most still operative fire-trucks. Good place for a free 30 min. visit, followed by ans ice-cream at Lydolps and a walk to the harbour and small beach (in the Summertime).

Run into this museum accidentally as we were passing by. We were pleasantly surprised! Amazing how they maintained old fire fighting equipment. Staff was very nice and polite, gave us very informative tour. Definitely worth visiting!
