Renovation

The bridge needs renovation and gets it. I like the construction. We came across it on our way to Butuan. You have good view from the bridge.

We drove over the bridge on the way home from the Banza Shrine. It was interesting but nothing special to see.

Worth the walk over to observe the village underneath. You may even be invited for a game of basketball. And witness the aeroplane bikes for yourself. You'll get more than the odd friendly wave from locals and definitely a few "hey Joes" thrown in for good measure :)

As we were going around the city today visiting Museums and sites we drove over the bridge. The river was a beautiful sight to see below us and the view of the area was beathtaking.

The bridge is the fastest way going into Butuan City or going to the cities or municipalities in the north or south, overlooking the Agusan River, there are also locals in the area enjoying the view at the bridge but like some viewers say, the humps are the problem commonly.

This is the second bridge spanning the Agusan River. This is the bridge that buses and cargo trucks use as the older bridge is only for smaller vehicles.

The bridge offers a good view of the Agusan River which is nice for taking pictures. If you're biking around Butuan, this should not be missed as one of the stops.

This Macapacal Bridge is one of the landmarks of the city so if you are a tourist this bridge is a good photo opportunity especially at night..but careful of the large vehicles esp. with truckloads of timbers pass this bridge..

Before, there was only 1 bridge that connects the east and west coast of butuan city, it is called Magsaysay Bridge. This is very old bridge that it is always in its repair mood, until early 2000 when this suspension bridge that will alternate the existing bridge was conceptualized and later on built. During the day, many joggers made DMSB... More
