Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In the mountains of the Genga area there is this ancient village of Pierosara (union of the two names Piero and Sara, two legendary characters from these parts). In the highest part of the hamlet there is a medieval tower, the only remnant of the ancient castle. The tower is nothing special, but the village is overall very suggestive and a destination for Sunday outings.

We stopped to visit this small village near the Frasassi caves to photograph the beautiful tower that dominates the surrounding valleys. It is one of those places where you can find peace and silence and perhaps have a nice stop at a restaurant.

Borghetto with the remains of a castle made famous by the story of Piero and Sara, two lovers who were killed by a treacherous nobleman who had fallen in love with the girl, Piero's betrothed. Pleasant to take the walk also called tour of the castle... views, streets and silence... a great appetizer before going to Maria!
