Year-round ATV, UTV and sand-buggy tours of the Pine Nut Mountains: Explore the high desert, a landscape studded with twisted junipers and perfumed with the scent of sagebrush. It is big, beautiful, and remote. This is the land of the mustangs; wild horses roaming free since the days of early explorers and travelers. (2 to 6 hr tours)Seasonal ATV tours of the famous Rubicon Trail: Explore the challenges, thrills and history with your guide on arguably the most challenging four-by-four trail in North America. Experience firsthand the reason why it takes even the best of off-road enthusiasts two days to drive the 23 mile trail. (2-6 hour tours)Seasonal Snowmobile Tours of Hope Valley: The Blue Lakes region region just south of Lake Tahoe offers some of the deepest snow pack on the west coast. The 2009-2010 winter snowfall tallied to a monumental 51 feet! Our guided snowmobile tours run from as early as October through late May. (2-6 hr trail and Ultimate (off-trail) tours)

We did a long week-end in South Lake Tahoe and decided to try some snowmobiling! We decided on Lake Tahoe Adventures. I will say it was a fun experience! They were thorough and professional..! And the machines we had were in very good shape. Now, as far as the machines of the others in our group, I can't attest to... More

This was the worth snow mobile experience I ever had! I have done 3 snow mobile tours before and this was by far the worth ever! When we got to the park they didn't have enough snow mobiles so they went through the broken ones and after a couple of tries they found one that worked! Brett our guide stated... More

SO MUCH FUN! Kelly was a blast. A great guide who had a sense of the type of group he was guiding and really catered to our skill level. Kelly taught us how to ride the snowmobiles and we were off on the tour about 15 minutes after we got off the bus. We stopped to take photos and throw... More

Everything about this trip was easy. We took advantage of their early bird rate for the 2 hour snow mobile tour. It has snowed about 3 feet on top of many more feet of snow. The trails were groomed and the scenery surrounding the trail was breath taking. My husband drove the sled and I was his passenger. These are... More

We were up in Tahoe for a week and our highlight was a snowmobile trip with these guys. We did the 2hr scenic valley tour with our 2 teenagers. We had snow clothes but you can rent anything you need there. There were a few kinks (traffic delays from snow removal equipment and a bus breakdown) but these issues were handled... More

I am a Tahoe Local and came across this company looking for new activiies for my teenage son. From the moment Barbara in the office returned my email request to make a reservation, my experience with Tahoe Adventurres was unforgettable. This isn't merely some random tour company making turn and burn reservations, It was very friendly while sharing personal experiences... More

The 5 of us (3 teens) all had a lot of fun heading up the Rubicon trail with our guide Brad. It was a rocky and challenging ride for sure. We stopped at some beautiful lakes too. It gets really dusty though. My daughter made the mistake of wearing a white shirt ( well it was when we started ).... More

What a massively great time we had together. My 3 adult children and my son's SO and I challenged each other and encouraged each other through the entire exhausting course. A staff member cheered us on. So friendly and thorough in their instruction. I felt very safe as a 56 year old mom climbing and zip lining with much younger... More

The staff was amazing. They explained how to use the equipment so easily and continued to help throughout the activities. I was impressed on how well maintained the area and equipment were. My son and his girlfriend (both 20 yrs old) went on the beginner/intermediate course and found it challenging and exciting. 2 hours was just enough time to go... More

After spending years riding ATV’s, we now prefer the Razor tours. My husband has the thrill of the drive and I have the opportunity to sit back, hold on tight and just see the scenery. It's a great 2 hour tour. There were 3 razors on the tour and our guide Casey did an excellent job of taking us through... More
