Great views and a lovely walking space! Would definitely recommend. Also great to bring along your dog, if you have one. 😊

Had a blast hiking in this area. I went on thanksgiving day and there were only a few people there. Great scenery. I’d recommend a wide angle and long focus lens. #DogFriendly #Photography

It's been 30 years since traveling here, and when I had the chance to return, I did. Wow! The drive around Lake Tahoe is phenomenal, but this place is one of the most beautiful spots around.

Beautiful view driving around the rim of Emerald Bay. If you can find a place to park it is a fun place to hike and bounce around the rocks all while enjoying the beautiful view of the bay. We visited in October so the crowds...More

It was enjoyable to experience the bay from a boat. The boat traffic on a Saturday was very busy in the bay. Bring an anchor so you can relax and enjoy.

Being from Florida we are not used to altitude haha. So after the hike we literally were left breathless by both the views and altitude. The hike was pretty easy and wasnt extremely busy - we went during the Autumn season to experience so beautiful...More

What can I say. Any superlative will probably come up short of describing what this site is really like. The must see point on the lake for sure. The park is ideally located so that you get that oh so perfect shot of the bay....More

It is about a mile each way, but the slope is manageable if you take your time. The road is crushed stone, so you might even be able to use a stroller if it has large wheels. There were some mini water fall cascades along... More

The lake water is cold. The weather at Lake Tahoe has been in the 80's BUT if you are on the lake and it gets windy it can become quite cold. We took a boat ride and it was 85 degrees but the wind kicked up and became very... More
