Not a long hike but definitely some serious strenuous effort to be made to reach and return from the falls. But utterly worth the effort! GORGEOUS falls, cold water but swimmable, and wonderful views all along the way. Many seniors like myself on the trail...More

Lovely walk right of the street. Beautiful waterfall. Nice spot for a little picnic. Be prepared for the summer crowds.

Spectacular views, all around, and the Eagle Lake at the top is just beautiful. I'd rate it as moderate hiking; while it isn't long, it is steep in parts. Bring water, picnic food if you want to eat at the top, and hiking shoes.

This hike was a little confusing to figure out. We went there with the intention of just hiking to Eagle Falls and I'm not convinced we ever saw the falls but we ended up going to Eagle Lake with was stunning!! The hike seems long...More

If you do not get to the park entrance before 8am, you will be parking on the street up the mountain road! This is a very popular hike but the waterfalls are spectacular! This is the hidden gem off the lake!

We arrived at 7:30 and found plentiful parking. We were in the Eagle Falls lot. We first saw lower falls from Hwy 89 and then hiked upper Eagle Falls first. The stairs are helpful but a little steep and uneven. Take your time and enjoy...More

You can continue past the bridge and Eagle Falls viewing point, to Eagle Lake. Total hike was about 3.4 miles, with most going up or down, rather than flat. It was moderately difficult/tiring, so I would be cautious if older or not in shape. Bring...More

Drove up the falls and back to the hotel after struggling with traffic and parking to no avail. I recommend getting someone to drop you off. There were more people than the park should be allowed on the area. Shame.
