This villa is a gem and worth seeing if you are a student of architecture or Veronese's frescos. The central part of the house - Palladio's original concept of the area for living space - is open to the public but the side wings, called...More

This villa is still used as a family home hence only a few rooms are open but these are delightful. The wall paintings are light and mostly landscapes. There are lots of fanciful touches which give the rooms a sense of fun. It would be...More

The villa is magnificent; I wanted to add this review because I think the website and reviews do not pay justice to the restaurant, which has delightful wines and truly special local plates. I would highly recommend eating lunch here.

Magnificent villa. 6 rooms open to the public. Frescos on the walls. Not cheap..9 euros and you see it all in 30 minutes...but a fine example

If you've read Sally Gable's "Palladian Days" and want to see a good example of a Palladian villa, but can't make it to Villa Cornaro on the days it is open, this is a good example of a Palladian Villa. The docents are knowledgeable and...More

Great and picturesque location among natural perks and vineyards. Exceptional frescos by Veronese. All this in the still inhabited historic villa.

The most beautiful Palladian villa I have visited! The paintings be Veronese are so delicate and elegant! The owner still lives on the villa so you can't visit it all. If you visit the region you definitively have to go there.

The Villa is a home that is being shared with the public and it is as beautiful as expected. The guides are helpful and considerate, especially if you can't walk very well. We had driven the Prosecco route and realised that the wineries we passed...More

One of Palladio's high achievements, this beautifully maintained villa remains a residence as well as a testament to the architect's genius. Truly a must see for any with a passion for art and architecture.

This was our fourth visit to this beautiful villa. We asked at the shop for a recommendation for a panini lunch in town. Just go upstairs, we were told -- we had seen a sign for “snacks,” but that meant cicchetti or something like that...More
