OK it's not that big but it's full of things to learn and the two women who were doing the tours were so knowledgeable and approachable. I learned so much. The high point...we learned to throw spears with an 'atlatl', a prehistoric 'chuck it stick'....More

Fossils and recreations, excellent explanatory movies and a super layout both inside and out make this museum a great first visit. Pay a little more and see the nearby transportation museum as well.

Very nice natural history exhibits. Particularly fascinating to learn about the Ice Age animals and how they met their end. The fossil and other artifact exhibits were very well done. We watched the movie and took a very informative free tour with a knowledgeable guide....More
