This National Parks preservation is well worth the visit. We arrived late and time was at a premium but it really provided a good glimpse of what paddlewheel travel entailed and how it met the needs of the whitehorse to Dawson City route.

We absolutely loved our tour. We were very impressed with all the local knowledge imparted along the way and loved the sense of humour of our commentator. We learned more aboard the Klondike than during the rest of our stay in the area.

Season ended a day before we arrived, so we missed being able to go inside! But lovely from the outside, and we would definitely go again if we find ourselves back in Whitehorse!

The visit to this boat includes a good movie and a walk around the boat. We did the self guided tour. It was fun to see the common rooms and cargo area and the engine room set up as they were when the boat traveled...More
