We enjoyed our northern lights experience although we did not get to witness a full light display. However, the slower shutter photo taken of us that evening was surprisingly a very good pic with some activity in the background. Bernie was a very good host and had many stories to share. The campfire was warm and toasty marshmallows yummy. Thank... More

I highly recommend this wonderful company! My friend and I booked the 4 night aurora gazing trip with a two night stay at the Boreale Ranch. It was a wonderful experience from the first email to the drop off at the airport for the return flight! The office is very responsive through email and answered all my questions quickly and... Not only did this company pick us up (group of adults from Australia) from the airport but they escorted all our group on a city tour. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to see the Northern Lights on two of our nights in Whitehorse. At the site for viewing the lights there was plenty of room, photographic... More

The staff are very friendly, helpful and on time. We especially enjoyed the wild life preserve and the hot springs, as well as the dog sledding with Sky High. It was very exciting viewing the northern lights, the staff were also helpful at pointing out the constellations as well as helping with settings on our cameras to get the best... More

Northern tales provided us with one of the most memorable trips. The guides were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The day trips we did included wild life tour, hot springs, dog sledding. We had a great time at all. The dog sled company was extremely well ran and we had the best day. The northern light viewing set up... More

We had 4 nights with Northern Tales and have nothing but praise for this trip. We were picked up from the airport and given a very comprehensive briefing of our stay. The first and fourth nights were in a very comfortable hotel in the town of Whitehorse and the other 2 nights were at the Borealis Lodge. The night trips... More

Very well organised tour, pick ups and itinerary are clearly communicated and the packaged hotel is in a convenient location in the town centre. The guides were all very nice and professional, and everyone seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the Whitehorse area, the wilderness and aurora, which is quite infectious. The night excursion to view the aurora was a fantastic experience... More

Spend 2 nights of viewing. There was no Aurora to be seen night 1 but it was still fun, spending time around the outdoor fire and alternating with time in the cosy cabins, drinking good coffee and hot chocolate. Second night was similar but at 2.20 am, shortly before we were due to drive back to the hotel a very... More
