My husband and I went here on a weekday morning. It was a beautiful fall day, and we really enjoyed walking around the lovely trails and viewing the animals. If you don't expect polar bears and penguins, you will be fine. They have many animals...More

I was impressed by how many animals they had at the zoo. Would love to know how they got the animals though and whether or not this a research or rescue farm. If not, the cages could be bigger.

Signage was terrible couldn't find information good enough to have a good experience. We felt there wasn't many animals to see and no one to ask.

Wonderful exhibits. A great place to take children. As well as seeing the animals the children have a park area to play.

The Forestry farm is a great place to spend on afternoon. Love the animals and the grounds. Nice and open for family picnics. We go as often as we can.

It's a great place for picnic. There are plenty of parking space and group picnic space all over the park. It's also used for racket and trout fishing. In the winter, it's for light show at night.

Whe we entered the zoo we found a lot of empty enclosures in the entrance area (we thought that we wasted the entrnce fee). After getting farther in the we found a lot of interesting displays.

As far as I know, most animals are rescues and even though they have been rehabilitated, cannot be returned to the wild due to their dependence on us for care and feeding. This is the case for the eagles and grizzly bears... More
