My family and I toured Government House recently. There is so much history in the building, and we loved the furniture and other objects of another era.

Excellent venue for a photo club display we went to before the holidays. Nice photos as well as very festive decorations at Goverment House. The ballroom was spectular & fit for royalty. A must see for everyone coming to the Queen City.

Excellent recreation of the mansion as it was a long time ago. Impressive period correct furniture and displays. Make sure you can attend and take part in the afternoon tea. Well worth the time and effort to visit this heritage site.

We took friends from Ottawa, originally from Saskatchewan, to Government House. They were throughly impressed and said their was nothing that compares to it back home.
