The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have been an integral part of Canada's historical and cultural landscape since 1873, helping to form and protect our great nation, and playing a significant role in creating the Canadian identity. Situated on the doorstep of RCMP Academy, "Depot" Division in Regina, Saskatchewan, where Mounties have trained since 1885, the RCMP Heritage Centre is appropriately located where the tradition begins. The Centre brings to life the incredible story of the RCMP and its role in the development of Canada using state of the art exhibits, multimedia technologies, and engaging programming and tours.

Saw the new RCMP recruits on parade. Was fascinating and made me very proud to be Canadian. The museum was very-well done, had some surprising displays about Canadian history that I had no idea would be there. Also a great exhibit on "money."

This museum is a must see in Regina as it gives a good history of the RCMP throughout it's existence. The exhibits are a little dated and need to be upgraded with more personal experiences of the members. All in all, very worthwhile to take in.

What a great place this was to take our family to learn about the Canadian Mounties. We are visiting from Australia and attended the Halloween event which was fantastic for our young kids and a great event all round. All of the exhibits and displays were very high quality and there was something for everyone. Well done, I highly recommend... More

Well worth the visit. I found the displays informative and well presented There was some interactive exhibits as well as a movie that describes the 6 months that new recruits must go through intensive training.

This place is amazing. We learned so much about the exploits of the RCMP and how it contributed to the development of Canada. This is a real RCMP training facility and in addition to a wonderful museum, they offer guided tours of the training grounds. Very impressive.

The guided tour is a great way to gain insights into the history and modern day operations of the RCMP 'depot' where all RCMP officers go for training. The young guides were very informative. The tour and chapel in particular provide a stark reminder of how many members have lost their lives to protect and serve us. I visited her... More

We went over to the Heritage Center for the first time visit and were not expecting very much. What a mistake that was!! This place is an excellent jewel in the crown of the RCMP. Very informative and interesting. We really enjoyed the history of how and why the policing of the Northwest came about. And how the RCMP is still existence today. Missed the noon hour parade which I am sure is very good also. Spent a good 2+hours here and really could have stayed longer.

Photos you see on the website are a little deceiving. We expected to see cadets in full uniform at the Sergeant Major's parade however this was not the case. There were five different groups parading including a band. It was an interesting experience however not as expected. The group guide is very informative.
