This smallish, historic cemetery is as much a park as anything and offers grass, trees, benches, and a call to take a break. The location is at the junction of the busy Port street, r. St. Jean, with r. St. Augustin, the latter a stairway...More

There are some really interesting headstones, including some imbedded into trees. This is the oldest cemetery remaining in Québec City. It has been turned into a park. It is next to St. Matthew's Church library which is also very beautiful.

A wonderful spot with a very interesting history where you can take a break from a busy day of walking up and down the streets of Quebec; the locals go there to lay in the grass or enjoy a boxed lunch on a sunny day.

Close to the city centre this is worth the little walk it takes to explore. The site is a protestant grave yard with graves from the 1700-1800s. most of the markers look like military officers and their families. Interesting and beautiful with lots of benches...More
