We love bridges, they are all so different. It old, needs so TLC but totally worth taking pictures of.

Quebec Bridge is impressive and can be viewed best from the top of the Montmorency Park. Certainly worth taking a good look.

This bridge stands tall for all to see its very impressive but could do with a bit of a repaint to refresh the bridge up.

Impressive bridge
Jul. 2018 • Family
Its an impressive bridge and the gateway into Quebec City, its a large structure with a lot of traffic everyday, but a sight to behold its span across the St Lawrence river.

Old yet still Standing
Jun. 2018 • Couples
The old Quebec Bridge is old and rusty but still standing. I bit intimidating to say the least. Still however, very impressive to look at as you drive over the river.

Rusty but still special
Aug. 2018 • Couples
Compared to the new bridge, it's a masterpiece, notwithstanding the rust. Still being used for automobiles, and lots of them. Tried to cross on our bikes but the path is very narrow, more like a narrow sidewalk on a metal surface, and if you walk your bike, as the signs suggest, it's probably at least 15 to 20 minutes to get across. Still, some bikers just zoom across, as there is no alternative.

Actually two bridges
Sep. 2017 • Couples
There is the old bridge made with cantilevered steel spans and the new modern bridge. We came to Quebec by Train and crossed over the old bridge. While the views were restricted at times it was still impressive.

Best viewing is at the aquarium on the North side of the St. Lawrence.

Great view from the aquarium
Jul. 2017 • Family
I had no idea this is the largest cantilever bridge in the world until reading the plaque at the aquarium. It's quite an engineering feat and unfortunate that it failed and so many people died while working on it.

Beautiful Old Bridge
Nov. 2015 • Couples
The new bridge was built alongside the old one and shows the contrast in architecture from days gone by to modern.
It looks like there is some work ongoing on the old bridge and I hope it is being restored and not demolished - surely it could still serve a useful purpose..
