This particular church is buried deep inside the old town, but having said that, you will almost certainly cross it path, as it’s surrounded by eateries and retail outlet, but it’s still a beautiful looking church.

A simple church, just worth a quick visit. The neighbourhood is more interesting. The outside has a nice statue. It's situated out of the old centre.

St Roche’s church is the largest church in Wuebec City but certainly it isn’t along the main tourist strip. When I visited it was under renovation as they were working on the front facing of the church. Inside it is nice but not overly ornate.

This is the largest church in Quebec, which is not a reason to go see it. It's pretty much an early 20th century hulk. The exterior is plain and straightforward, without much interest. The Romanesque Revival interior is a bit better, with a decent vault,...More

Once again the visit to this church was awesome. I think this place is under rated. It is a beautiful church full of history and art. The priest and the people were very welcoming. Our school kids even liked the Mass.

Located in Quartier Saint-Roch, this church is an impressive, huge church dedicated to Saint Roch, who was the protector against all sorts of diseases and inflictions. His name must been included in prayers for centuries. The exterior is Gothic Revival in nature and includes some...More

Beautiful exterior. Underwhelming interior. Open till about 4pm. No hastle to go in. Not crowded at all either. There is a suggested entry I believe. Spend about 15 mins here.

This building was so beautiful and historic. It caught my eye right away and stood out from a distance. I did not get a chance to go inside but I loved seeing it.

Compared to the $10 required admission in Montreal, this church has a suggested 25 cent admission. It's beautiful, quiet and has wonderful stained glass windows. Not being religious, I was only interested in the architecture.
