A truly amazing way to relive history, walking the actual walls of the City. There are a number of places in which reconstruction is going on so just plan ahead.

The walls surrounding Old Town are an attraction by themselves. There is a paid tour, but you can go up for free and walk around. It is beautiful and filled with history.

The entire city is surrounded by a wall. There are a number of gates. It was so great to be surrounded by all of the history. Stay inside the walls when you visit.

If one enters the Old City through this passageway, one can immediately sense the history and passage of time. Unique and well-kept, this castle-like wall is a sight to see.

We enjoyed walking around on top of the ruins and taking some picture of the views. It's actually quite busy up there at night. Some of the local teens were hanging out so it was not as quiet as I thought it would be.

Three of the gates still exist, and all are neat to see! Easy access around and on top to enjoy the views. We were not able to take the tour, but still it was nice to just walk around and look.
