Fun ride

A fun historic ride and a quick access up or down. We rode both ways at different times. The wait was not too long on either time.

The first thing we realized about Lower Quebec was that there were A LOT of stairs between the Chateau Frontenac and the old part of town. While we mostly walked the stairs, we did end up riding the funicular several times - to avoid treacherous snow, or when we just couldn't face the steps again. It was super-easy, the gentlemen... A quirky little way to avoid having to climb up or down all the stairs between the Frontenac and the lower town in Quebec City, the Funicular affords a good view of the Lawrence River during the (less than) 5 minute ride. Kids will think it's cool.

it is a bit of fun to jump on this historical lift from a bygone era. It is cheap enough do do it once but probably not more than once

Very cute and a fun ride. The Funicular showed a great view of the city. A. Rey short ride, would have been nice for it to be a bit longer but overall a pleasant experience.

It's easy to take the stairs to go down, but to go up, the Funicular is the best way to get some great views. At only $3 per person, it's well worth it.

Makes getting from upper to lower city very easy. $3 each way. There was no line and we were able to walk right on.

The trip is only $3 and the fastest easiest way to get up the hill. It's a fun way to get up and see the views.

The best way to get down the cliffs to shopping in Quebec is the Funicular. The cost is $3 Canadian. Nice views of the St. Lawrence river.
