Built in 1884, this was closed when we visited, clearly there’s no snow or ice in August! But it was still pretty impressive to see... over 250 metres long, apparently speeds of 44 mph plus are achieved... not with me they wouldn’t be!!
Fun and cheap activity to do in Quebec City. We were lucky to be here just in time as it was the last day available to play on. At $2.50 per person you cant go wrong. little people and big people can enjoy this one!

Fabulous fun! Take a toboggan ride down thus icy slide by the Chateau Frontenac. Tucker's slightly discounted as it's nearing the end of the season $2.50/person. Tickets purchased at the cafe at the bottom of the slide.
This was sooo much fun! The views from the top are beautiful. We went on multiple trips. I would recommend doing a night run. Do not forget to video the ride on your smart phone, you will enjoy re-visiting your ride. Very affordable.

We've been to QC before but this time is our first visit in the winter times. We seeked this out and bought our ticket for the slide ($3 a person, $10 for 4 tickets). Once you buy your ticket, you can then lug your own...More
