We stopped here as part of a tour, and it is beautiful on the inside. This church has an interesting history in regards to the battles in Quebec City, it's worth researching before you go!

We were able to attend Mass on New Year's Day. The priest had a great sense of humor and had a great homily about PEACE. It was very nice to among the locals to celebrate this Mass.

It is nicely located with a very small plaza (and a tree in winter) with a nice view, although not spectacular.

It was minus twenty outside and the air is filled with holiday spirit and music. Jolly singers with red scarves with adoring audiences dancing and clapping.

Be wary of walking tours as you explore the exterior of the church. The cobblestones are also uneven and on a wet day slippery. With those words of advice, the church is worth whatever effort, as it is a quaint example of historic Quebec.

Very nice old church from the 1600's in the middle of lower town or Palace Royal, worth a quick walk though while visiting.

This church is considered to be the oldest stone church in North America. It is located in Place Royale. We dropped in for about 15 minutes or so. It is certainly impressive and worth while to see. No admission is charged.

This is one of my favorite churches. I especially love the ex voto ship floating above the congregation. If you want a real taste of early Catholicism in Quebec this is the place to visit.

Beautiful inside! French mass, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Really a “must see”. It was pristine, looked as if it had just been renovated.
