Built in 1925, the Olympia de Montreal is one of the most precious gems of Montreal's cultural and architectural heritage. Its years devoted to "cinematic theatre" gave it a particular character. Memories of the past still linger, doubled by an unparalleled convivial atmosphere. Its ideal location on Sainte-Catherine Street makes it one of Montreal's most accessible venues. As a modular venue, the Olympia de Montreal offers many design options: standing general admission (2438 people), theater configuration with numbered seats (from 1224 to 1302 seats), cabaret configuration (up to 418 people around small round tables), banquet configuration (up to 400 people at the table), choose the option that best suits your event! The walls of the Olympia know how to dress with class and elegance to accommodate the voices of the biggest names in Quebec and international music scene : from Gilles Vigneault to Tori Amos, via Daniel Bélanger, Claude Leveille, Georges Brassens, Loreena McKennitt, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Adele and Isabelle Boulay. Olympia de Montreal also knows how to wear a proper dress to the greatest rock concerts: Artic Monkeys, The Kills, Rita Mitsouko, Philippe Katherine or Public Image Limited. Besides his musical vocation, the Olympia de Montreal was able to expand its cultural horizons by hosting the greatest comedians in Quebec (Louis-José Houde, Daniel Lemire, Clémence Desrochers, Lise Dion, Jean-Michel Anctil, Sugar Sammy) and several theatral plays. Broue, a symbol of Quebec's theater, ran there for The Olympia de Montreal also knows how to change according to your desires for all kinds of corporate events such as business meetings, conferences and fundraising events. Finally, the Olympia Lounge can accommodate up to 400 people for all kinds of events: concerts, press conferences, album launch, cocktails, private parties or business meetings ... We were in Montreal at the Olympia Theater late July of 2017. It is an older theater with the kind of seating you expect in an older theater. The seats were close together, not well padded with poor numbering so no one seemed to know...More

Jeremy makes this place work. An older theatre, needs better seats and air conditioning. Close to public transportation.

Old theater in the heart of Montreal's Gay Village. The street is closed off. It's a nice party atmosphere. The seating is comfortable. Keep in mind the installations are old. The drinks are way over priced.

Really the perfect setting for such a great concert. Not a bad view in the house and comfy chairs in the balcony when you got tired of standing on the concrete terraces on the main floor. House staff were great, too.
