Built in 1925, the Olympia de Montreal is one of the most precious gems of Montreal's cultural and architectural heritage. Its years devoted to "cinematic theatre" gave it a particular character. Memories of the past still linger, doubled by an...more

We were in Montreal at the Olympia Theater late July of 2017. It is an older theater with the kind of seating you expect in an older theater. The seats were close together, not well padded with poor numbering so no one seemed to know...More

I paid $40 for a ticket to kaytranada and had to line up outside in below zero weather for over an hour before we were let into the theater mid way through kaytranada's set. I was denied a refund for my ticket and the whole...More

Had a concert on July 1st. Doors were ''supposed'' to open at 8pm and concert was ''supposed'' to start at 9pm. We waited outside on the side walk until 10:30pm until we finally got in. It was so badly organised. The concert started only at...More

Old theater in the heart of Montreal's Gay Village. The street is closed off. It's a nice party atmosphere. The seating is comfortable. Keep in mind the installations are old. The drinks are way over priced.

The place was great. I am a big fan of smaller venues to see the best band on earth. Yeah it was crowded but concerts are supposed to be. Never had a problem getting a beer, met people from all over the world and can't...More

Really the perfect setting for such a great concert. Not a bad view in the house and comfy chairs in the balcony when you got tired of standing on the concrete terraces on the main floor. House staff were great, too.

If you speak only English you will waste your money as French dominates the presentation at 90% of spoken words. This comedian is fantastically funny but is misleading patrons who do not speak French to come to the show because part of it is in...More

The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd
the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs
for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an
open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished
buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special
homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and
cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst
Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party
