Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

.Around Berri Metro, this University was created on the premise of giving access to Higher Education to Workers..I studied Law there spo I have used the Facilities abundantly. Their Library at the Pavillon Judith Jasmin is great, although since the new Bibliotheque Nationale opened next door, I go there now, to check on Mags, Movies, Books and Newspapers. UQAM has integrated an old Church Steeple in its St Denis Facade. Across it, is the old Ecole Polytechnique (now on the UdeMtl Campus). The magnificent limestone building now houses UQAM'S Business School. UQAM also has a great Coop (on Ste Catherine, 3 blocks west of St Denis) , a good place to buy a Laptop, printer..etc.,Direct access underground to the Berri Metro makes this great in Winter or Rainy Days. Several art Exhibits are usually on-going..but all in French. .

The university itself is set in the 60's but the neighborhood is quaint. More on the francophone side rather than the bilingual feel of McGill.

The UQAM buildings make a mix of buildings ranging from the modern ones to the old ones. Of all these. However, the campus is not as elegant as that of McGill.

We stumbled upon UQAM quite by accident while strolling around the underground city. Coming from the states, it was nice to see how the campus is attached to the city in many ways.

The University of Quebec at Montreal ("UQAM") is a practical blend of contemporary, modern and relevant buildings, spaces and classrooms for local, national and international teaching, presentations and conferences. This being our second visit while attending an international conference I can say it is well prepared, laid out in a major metropolitan area and enjoyable to visit. Plus, Montreal is a wonderful place to enjoy a new blend of northern cultures (French Canadian "light").

They managed to reuse old buildings, even a church, and the interior has been renovated. Students can access most of buildings internally. Interesting place. Many young people on week-days and they helped when we asked questions as we did not know were we were. .
