Not so well-known but worth it

The grand Séminaire offers two daily tours accompanied by a guide. Our guide, Jacinthe, was well versed in the history of what had started out, in the 1600s, as a village established by the Sulpiciens, a religious order from France. Although few of the original buildings still exist, you can visit two of the original towers. Jacinthe then took us to the "bassin", the longest man-made basin in North America. The visit ended in the Chapel which was well worth it. The Seminary still houses 20 priests and has approximately 40 students of theology. We are happy we went.
