Neighbourhood: Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.

Excellent!

This is one of the best places of Montréal, very quiet place in the east, big park to do biking, rollerblade, running, picnic, yoga, read, you name it. (Except BBQ) this is one of the Montréal biggest parks.

Is close to the Pie-IX metro station, and several buses lines, also they have the Botanic Garden of Montréal, Japanese Garden and close to the soccer stadium and the Olympic stadium.

If you looking a quiet place to relax in the middle of the city this is your place.

Please maintain the park clean as usual, take the garbage with you or use the container, also recicle as much you can.

And last but not least if you are going to hear music please be prudent and respectful with other.

Enjoy the visit.

For me it's our best.
Perfect for picnics.
Tons of green grassy space and picnic tables everywhere you've got to explore this place if you haven't yet.

Nice place to hang out, jog and relax. It's big but has nothing special to offer VS the other parks of the city

Relaxing
Jul. 2018 • Friends
Really enjoy going to this park speacialy in the morning when it's quiet and most people are still in bed .

When going out with my bicycle I always go to this park as they have a place for bikes and another one for pedestrians and you don,t have to worry about cars right in the middle of the East End of Montreal .

Good place to relax in the summer!
Jul. 2016 • Friends
This parc is a great place to relax, have a pic-nic, sunbathe, have a jog, ride a bike, etc... This park is huge, so be prepared to walk long distances. It is located right next to the botanical garden, so this a place that you can go to right after to relax. For lovers of calm, nature and open spaces.

Amazing ice-skating ring

You are close to the Olympic stadium? Then you should visit parc nearby. Especially in winter, you can just switch your shoes inside a warm house for ice-skates and have a sweet ride outside.

It's free, open since morning until late evening and you just need to have ice-skates. Will definitely come again!

A big park, it was the Montreal Golf Course before the mid seventies.

If you are in the area and if you visit the botanical garden or the Olympic Park, Biodome or Planetarium, you are just nearby. If not, well... Don't drivé or take the metro just for it! Although it is a very nice and relaxing place to walk in during the summer and fall season. In the winter you can come for ckating or cross-country skying!
