A nice enough area but nothing spectacular, walked there from downtown, didn't feel it was anything that was different from any other district in a big city. Nice but not spectacular.

It’s true... I visited the plateau a few times on vacations to Montreal (from vancouver) and now I live here. It’s such an amazing place, with amazing restaurants and bars... close to the mountain and the city. It is also full to the brim with...More
We stayed in an Airbnb in this neighborhood and it was amazing. Great restaurants, bakeries and cafes within walking distance. Lots of parks in close proximity. Interesting shops. Quite young and hip demographic. Gorgeous graffiti murals everywhere. Beautiful and iconic houses everywhere. Loved this neighborhood!!

Vacationed in Montreal late October. Hiked around Mount Royal for a few hours. Took the subway from downtown to the back of the mountain then hiked through the park back to the hotel. Beautiful day the cemetry was very large well maintained.
This was by far the best neighborhood to stay in - it was so family friendly, safe with lots of options for eating and walking around.
