This is one station that is nice to wait for a train for a little longer. Lovely places to find gourmet snacks - a SAQ inside too. If you have to be there early for a train, not a bad place.

We had a pleasant train ride from QuebecCity, but should not have "checked in" our suitcases - we had to wait almost half an hour for them at the Montreal Station. Next time we will take them on the train with us.

Lots of places to sit down in the cafes and restaurants in the train station. No security to go thru. The business lounge is located just across the McDonalds in the train station.

The minimal price difference happens to us when booking as well, and it proved to be a great decision! Use of the VIP lounge, comfy seats, meal and drinks..well worth it!! Book it!😄
