Don't do it to yourself. We walked out 20 mins after paying for the sauna and that includes check in time etc. This place is terrible, only one side of the infra red sauna worked so we we're told we would have to rotate every few mins as there was 2 of us. Only 2 out of the 6 heat panels... More

I arrive 15 minutes early for my appointment. at 5 past 2, I am told by the very gentle secretary that it won't be long. At 2:25, I ask if it will be much longer because I have an appointment at 3:30. At which time, the "doctor" Antonina appears. I say I will need to reschedule because I will not... More

This place is really old. For the same price, you can get a much better service and atmosphere elswhere. Check out my other reviews, actually. I've lived in the neighbourhood for many years. This place used to be an adult massage place, gross! When I saw a promotion for them on a group purchase website, I realized they changed their... More

Best massage therapist ever (Mikhaïl). Place not so clean and very old decor. Need a huge refresh. I had to carry my clothes throughout the session . No looker room Massage room too close to the kitchen. During the session I could hear the microwave and employees talk to each other. I was also questionning myself about the cheap chocolate... Absolutely the most terrible service I have ever recieved in my entire life. I have never been so insulted and disrespected by an establishment that should be trying to go above and beyond to please its customers. The manager and owner of this place refused to have a conversation and dismissed the fact that they owed their customers an explanation... More

It's hard to believe this place still is open since it lacks customer service. I, along with a group of friends went for 3-treatment package and we had the most UNETHICAL experience in the history of consumerism! Very UNORGANIZED; they don't notify their customers of any changes in their policies even though you book weeks in advance and travel an... More

Terrible place run by an old Russian man and old lady, who aren't clearly updated with technology. I bought a voucher off of teambuy and was told to pay again because of a dispute that they had with the company. The old lady was super rude when entering the place, they were also pretty racist so don't expect to be... More

I wish they had the option of "no stars". This place is horrible. One would think that a place that has been around for so long would first know how to respect its customers. A few friends and I bought a group package to this place, we booked an appointment two week ahead for all of us. Within those two... More

My experience at Centre de Santé Renaissance was not a pleasant one. I had to pay extra for using a towel and robe after taking the sauna and shower. The place itself is not very clean, definitely not a SPA. The Massage therapist Nicolay was the only good thing about this whole deal.

Staying in Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension

Neighbourhood Profile
The most ethnically diverse of all of Montreal's neighbourhoods, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension (or, Parc-Ex) stands at the city's centre, a hub for rail and metro traffic. Starting at the old station where the Canadian Pacific used to disembark, the brick-and-mortar surroundings of Parc-Ex have a homey feel, with leafy lawns and bicycle lanes seamlessly incorporated into the landscape. With prominent Greek and Spanish communities, Greektown includes the tastiest stops for brochettes and shawarma, and local bars entertain an excitable soccer fanbase. Jerry Park and Stade Uniprix stand ready for sports diehards to enjoy a game, while the the Complexe Environnemental Saint-Michel and Le Taz skate parks invite athletes to train and compete. Though built for the active and best by day, Cirque du Soleil, the TOHU center for arts, and the Le Boulevard shopping centre offer diversions for those who wish to stay late.
