I was out for a walk then stumbled across this building the architecture was quite impressive. I'd recommend everybody who is downtown Montreal just go by and take a look for yourself.

Great spot to walk around and see street performers and view art exhibits and eat and drink, and just people watch in old Montreal. Especially nice on a nice day, with the waterfront just down at the bottom of the street.

The street performers at Place Jacques-Cartier were entertaining and funny. Large crowds gathered to watch the intriguing performers do their thing. What Old Montreal is all about. Street performances, Caricaturists and artists selling their wares. (Found a cool silversmith selling jewelry at very reasonable prices.) Good for a couple of hours. Like most places, pretty crowded at times. Be patient.
