This club lives up to its rather bizarre name (in English, "Electric Buns," as in "rear end") with graffiti, a mosh pit and a mostly hippie/punk rocker crowd.

Headed to montreal for the first time, from the UK. A mate who lives in Ottawa recommended me and my pal went here whilst in Montreal. Glad we did because it was great fun. An alternative night was on when we went. They have super cool giant Easter Island head statues outside too! If you're into your alternative music scene... More

This was definitely not what we expected that night as the music was definitely more metal then expected. That being said, it was fun and lively all night with great bartenders.

If you like metal, this place is for you. Outstanding music, crazy good prices on both beer and liquor (let alone specials) and a phenomenal location. Don't expect the best selection of beer and liquor, but the atmosphere and prices more than make up for that. It's also my favorite concert venue in MTL. They get great bands, sound is... More

I've seen a lot of different reviews about this place and in my experiences there, I've always had a good time! :) Some people write things like 'It was weird, like, if you are into that rock and punk stuff it's okay I guess' - Research where you are going next time. Some people seem to of had bad experiences... More

The female bartender was so rude, that i thought she was going to hit me when i decided something else than originally ordered... Disappointing experience after i heard amazing reviews about this place, management have to really watch who they hire... But overall good music and crowd

We were having an epic time at a show and totally lovin' it until I had to deal with a bish of a bartender and when I asked to speak with the Manager I got the run-around from every employee I spoke to and in the end was never directed to the actual Manager.... Staff was rude but patrons were... More

A great night spot in Downtown Montreal if you are looking for something a little edgier. Definitely not for your average top 40 club patron. I had this place recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. Good space, clean and well priced. The music could have been edgier for my tastes but all in all a... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
