Great little animal sanctuary full of rescue animals. We went in winter and there was still plenty to see. Eight-year-old was so happy and running from exhibit to exhibit. We were also there at the end of the day and around 4:15 started to see the keepers feeding the animals and that was really cool too. It only took us... More

Used to visit this small zoo with my children when they were much younger. My daughter and I decided to reminisce and make a return visit over the Thanksgiving weekend. First of all, the cost of $16.25 was quite steep for the experience. Realize that this zoo does great work caring for injured, local animals, but the first enclosure was... More

Despite the park only containing local Quebec Wildlife, there is a lot to see and it is well worth the visit. With or without small children, it is a lot of fun and the admission price will not "break the bank".

We went out with the stroller to visit the zoo. Amazed by my daughter to see how many different animals, such as deer, raindeer, birds and fowl. Interesting to see the inside as well. Easy to walk and at your leisure.NIce bookstore for little gifts.

This is a small zoo with animals that for one reason or another can't be returned to the wild. Great care has been taken to explain the natural habitat of each animal. In English as well as French. There is also an excellent play area for children as well as an indoor picnic area. Well thought out and the animals... More

I have visited the Ecomuseum on several occasions. When my daughters were 8 and 10 years old, they attended a summer day program where they cleaned out the bear pen and were involved in learning all about the various animals in this small zoo. It was after one particular visit where I took a hard look at the demeanour of... More

A small zoo, with a surprisingly varied selection of animals. A pleasant surrounding and a nice walk to take with kids. Nearby hotels offer discounts for admission for guests. One downside, a gravel/sand parking lot makes for a very dusty experience entering and leaving.

Not our first visit, but this place keeps improving every time we visit. Our kids always enjoy in phenomenon visit, it gets the combo of teaching and keeping their interest just right. None of the animals are healthy in the wild and capture to be brought here, they are there for rescue / brought here for humane reasons. The birds... More
