Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Guys be aware that you have to arrive to the concerts 2 hours after the actual start date. We went to Electric Callboy and they had 2 groups in the beginning to start the show, the first “ fat feminists band” was a complete garbage.
After there was a “solence”band they were pretty solid, but we still came to see the band of the night, so second warm up band was quite extra. All I wanna say to “conquer/divide” please STOP SINGING, you are garbage.

Good stage but tickets for concerts should be capped after a certain amount. Too many people are forced to fit in a very small venue.

We had a great time. Some of the security staff were grumpy, but the bar staff was kind. We arrived early and sat in the balcony on stools, which was perfect for us since we had teens with us and didn’t want to be on the big downstairs dance floor. We find much more affordable tickets to the concert on StubHub. They also offer private Loges for an additional $50 per ticket which didn’t seem worth it to us. Nice drink selection.

Good size venue for events with balcony. Recently added two events here. Mask are not required. Also surprised there are no bag checks. Nice staffing but difficult to reach anyone during day.

I’ve seen a few shows at the MTELUS (former Metropolis) now and I find it to be an overall great venue.
There’s a downstairs and an upstairs which both features multiple bar areas so you usually don’t have to wait in line in to order yourself a drink.
They also have multiple monitors and tvs across the venue which display what’s going on stage so even if you want to go get yourself a drink or go to the bathroom you can see the show from one of the monitors.
The venue also features multiple exits for a quick exit once the show is over so you don’t have to do the zombie walk through the main entrance.

First time here. Get in an hour early to get good seats in the balcony. My wife and I didn't want to stand on the main floor for the band. Good bar service, roaming wait staff. Very comfortable, low key,no hassles. The band, Caravan Palace was fabulous and worth driving 2 hours to see them.

Went for a just for laughs comedy show. Of course the prices for drinks are not cheap. I gave as much as a decent tip as I could. The bartender who did not even smile or asked me how I am doing after I asked him exploded on me and complained about not giving him a big enough tip. I could not believe it. I walked away deciding I will not let him ruin my night. The venue is very nice and a good place to see a show. I just wished this short bartender with glasses learns better customer service. What a jerk.

The venue is nice, it is relatively small for a concert venue which makes for a great intimate setting. There are 2 levels all with views of the stage. There are not seats and it is all general admission, so the first in the doors get the best places to stand. The second level has high tops that you would stand against and I think this is the best place to be - definitely less crowded and less teenagers pushing than the bottom level.

Nice venu for concerts in Montreal, has an upstairs and and a downstairs all looking over the stage. Went to see Mathew Good and Our Lady Peace there this week and the bar staff was very freidly.
