Great place for a stroll with a couple of nice areas to sit and take in the view of the ocean and to smell the lilacs. The grounds are open to the public but the residence is only available for tours in July and August.

The grounds are open all year round for the public to enjoy, which are well maintained and very beautiful. Several benches to enjoy the tranquil space also. The sign says July and August there are tours, so check ahead for more details.

The gardens are lovely and the house looks as though it would be good for a visit in the right time of year.

Although the house is only open for visits in the summer, the grounds are open all year round. Built in the 1830’s this would have been a very impressive building for the time. Kitty corner to Beaconsfield House you should visit both.

Apparently the Gov invites people to join him in the garden on regular occasions..unfortunately our day wasn't one of them but we could, drive in & walk in the gardens!
