Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Glenn Gould studio is a great venue for a small intimate concert. I saw a fundraiser with three acts and was blown away by the quality of sound in the Studio. The lighting was also excellently executed. The concession drinks were reasonably priced and we were greeted by friendly service. The intimate and professional setting is enhanced by a distinct Canadian feeling. The wood paneled seats are reminiscent of the 1970's, Gould's heyday. A nice tribute is one of Gould's pianos that sits warmly in the hallway. I was presently surprised at the quality and overall experience at the Glenn Gould Studio.

We went to the studios not because of the studios but because of the Glenn Gould Statue outside. A bronze bench with the legendary piano player invites all his fans to take a seat next to him and get a photograph taken. To whom this seems childish is not a real fan. For me it was a bit like a must, something like a pilgrim tour to the monument of an artist I admire so much.
All his fans can just do it as they pass by on the way to the waterfront.

I attended a corporate event at the CBC's Glenn Gould Studio. The sound and lighting were first class and the seats were very comfortable. There were no bad sight lines. My only complaint is that the adjoining "lounge" was too small for the number of attendees.

I was there for a taping of CBC Radio's Because News and it was a well organized event held in a theatre space perfectly suited to it. CBC staff were great as were the artists (Gavin Crawford and his guests the Baroness von Sketch cast).

Saw the show "Both" by two men who were double amputees at this theatre. What a lovely venue, the lobby is terrific, the seating is comfortable and the stage and sound are great.

My husband and I went to see Roxanna " Exotica " We had a great time and a lot of fun. She's a very nice singer and the flamenco dancer were wonderful. It was a fabulous show.
To bad the concert was only one hour.

Wow! I have recorded and attended concerts here and am continually impressed by the intimate setting and acoustics contained within.
If you have a chance to attend a concert there or record, do not hesitate! What an amazing experience!

A Canadian legacy that we lost too soon. Glenn Gould Studio is a fabulous place to experience "music". If you have the opportunity to see/hear a show here, the acoustics are very good and lends itself well to musicians who play there and in turn to the audiences that are lucky to be present.

Cozy and wonderful sound. We saw Michael Kaeshammer there about a year or so ago. I wish there were more events to my liking at this venue.
