I came here a few days to treat myself on my birthday. Although the service I received was great, I was really taken aback and insulted by my experience with the receptionist. I went to the spa by myself and was checking in at the front. After she checked me in, she asked "are you meeting a group here?" I... More

Had a lovely spa morning. The facilities are lovely, especially the pool. I think the steam room should have a timer for safety reasons. Enjoyed my massage by Hugo (great !!!!!!). Enjoyed the tea and water stations, would have killed for a coffee and somewhere to buy a healthy snack/lunch as biscuits are not really my snack food. All in... More

I went to the spa at the Four Seasons hotel today for an aromatherapy massage. My friend and I arrived early to have a swim in the pool, 15 minutes in the hottub before the massage. Nick was my massage therapist and he got rid of the major knots in my neck and shoulders. I have regular massages every month... More

I went to the Four Seasons Spa for a massage last week and I was very impressed with my experience. The amenities were great, as usual. My massage therapist was excellent! He communicated very well with me, to make sure my treatment experience was exactly what I wanted. I'll absolutely be returning again and have already recommended to several friends!

Having received a gift certificate from my wife for a much needed massage, I decided to overcome my fear of spas and try this one. I am a convert! From the friendly welcome at arrival to the great tour from Matt, I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. The massage was one of the best I've ever had!... More

Hoping to get 2017 off to best start, I booked my first ever Travelzoo treat, a massage at the Four Seasons Spa. What an utter disappointment—and learning experience. I was open to whatever would happen, thinking positive, and did not want to sweat the small stuff, but consumer beware! 1. If you are a Travelzoo client you may not get... More

I have to admit that it's a big disappointment in what I expected a luxury spa and Four Seasons experience to be. 1. My massage therapist had a cold or bad allergies. It was very discomfiting when they sneezed mid-way through the massage. Granted I heard them stop to blow their nose and wash their hands but after they returned... More

This has to be my favourite spa in T.O.! it's truly an oasis in the city and it's the perfect escape and best way to pamper yourself! It's fairly quiet mid-week and there is plenty of room to relax in the lounge while you wait between treatments. The amenities are gorgeous! I had a European classic facial by the master... More

Note: I am from Toronto, so I didn't stay at the hotel, I only visited the spa. I treated myself to a facial and a 90 minute deep tissue massage yesterday. I had Chantelle for my massage and Victoria for my facial. Both were superb. The facilities were also beautiful and extremely clean and relaxing. Would definitely recommend! My only... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
