Always a great time!!

A great night!!!
My kids and us had so much fun!! This was our second time with our older two, and first for our youngest. My daughter was enthralled with our Knight, who gave her both the flower and the Queen of the Tournament 💙💙 He totally made her night.
Even with the restrictions the staff was amazing. Our wench was great with the kids as well.
We will be back!
The food was great as well!! Chicken done very nicely, potatoes and soup were perfect. Great job all around!!

Still enjoyable but…
Oct. 2021 • Family
It was our fourth time at medieval times. It was again enjoyable but I dropped a star as the announcing of not only birthdays this time but also people’s “1st visit to Medieval Times!” was annoying to say the least. That took up I would say 10-12 minutes of the show. I can understand birthdays but seriously they need to cut that out as it’s out of control. 5 or 6 birthdays and anniversaries I understand but there were probably 20+ announced. Food was plentiful as usual everything was a bit over cooked (food comment only posted for management-but since there was so much food we certainly did not go hungry) and the show was entertaining. Parking was $15.

I atteneded this event in the summer time.
Jun. 2021
I atteneded this event in the fall. I didin,t like it at all because I went to the original one in The Uk.
I went to hattsfield house in Bouremwood London. You can,t comapre this to the real one. It was more traditional with the settings and the lovely wenches that i chatted up when I was over there.
This one is way too plastic and Hollywoodish Disney for me . It didin,t even compare to the original in London.
If you can travel to the Uk and go to one of these classic events you won,t be dissapointed. the settings and the music fitted just well.
The meal was good to and the beer flowed throughout the evenings...

We went to Midevil times Toronto Castle to celebrate my sister 's birthday and her and her husband's anniversary. It was a great night out, a fantastic show and delicious meal over all.
The service was welcoming and friendly and if your looking for a family friendly event this would be a great experience.

Ran out of coffee, but great show.
Aug. 2021 • Family
The show was great. The only bummer is that everyone around us got coffee but when I asked the waitresswhen she dropped off her tip tray ifshe was coming back with our coffee she said that they ran out. I mean, tickets are purchased in advance, you know how many guests you have, how do you run out of coffee? Other than that, the kids loved it! We’ll probably be back :)

Horses are treated badly and dining options are not the greatest, good show for kids though
Aug. 2021 • Family
After my visit it was evident that the horses were only performing because they were afraid of being whipped, in one instance the horse was actually running from its trainer as a part of the routine. The rest of the show is (for the most part) well choreographed. There is the ability to do a jousting show with consideration for the horses well being and safety, I cannot say that I am impressed with that part of the experience. You don’t need to whip a horse into doing tricks for an audience to be entertained, let alone have the volume that loud while the horses are on the stage.

For the dining, vegan and vegetarian options are essentially the same. Aside from a slice of cake and ice cream where sherbet is provided for the vegan dish. There isn’t anything bad about the options provided, it’s a step in the right direction but compared to the amount of food provided for non-vegan patrons, there was considerably less available for the same price.

The show itself was relatively entertaining for kids, as for adults, you would be more interested by the jousting and maybe the sword fighting. It is more of an experience catered towards younger kids and that isn’t a bad thing but I’d say there is much work to be done in the direction of treating animals humanely, especially when you cater to vegan and vegetarian diners, I don’t think those sort of customers enjoy watching horses whipped so that they can courtesy.

Hello Your Grace - we addressed your concerns in an earlier review. We encourage you to visit our website where you will find an intimate portrait of our horse program. Our horses are our most prized team members and enjoy paddock time at the castle and farm time just north of the city. Thank you

Classy
Apr. 2019
I applaud this company's decision to close for a period of time given the situation as it attempts to be socially conscious. Important to me, unlike other events, I was given a prompt refund, unlike events scheduled through ticketmaster (sorry, not refunding because classifying as a postponement is b.s.). So I hope M.T. remains independent in their ticketing. Thank you and I will be a customer when you reopen. Patrick.

Great show, fantastic wait staff, food so-so
Mar. 2020
Pros:
The show was great. The horses were gorgeous and the games were highly entertaining to watch.
The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. Hats off to them as much of the meal was served in the virtual dark. Not a drop of drink was spilled, no food missed the plate.

Cons:
The food was just so-so. I didn't need half a roasted chicken. No one in our party did. A lot of food went to waste. The chicken itself was bland - some seasoning would have went a long way. Same goes for the potato - boring. The corn was nice.
But - credit to the kitchen because despite the quantities being served, my food was hot!!

Was it fun, absolutely. Would I recommend it as a must do....not really. Unless you're stuck with a rainy day there are lots of other worthwhile things to do in Toronto.
