The seating is really really cramped but we thought the show was very funny. As Americans, they said a lot of what some of us are already thinking about our current government. I found it was done in good taste and not offensive in any way. Actually, it's comedy, so maybe it's supposed to be somewhat offensive...lol

This is definitely worth a stop when you're visiting Toronto if you're into comedy. All of the comedians in the show that we saw were very funny, and the sketches were well executed. They also did some improv after the main show was over and that great as well.

Wasn't to sure what to expect as was our first time coming here but the show was hilarious. They interacted with the crowd and very good bar service.

We were traveling to Toronto with our teen boys. They enjoy comedy and have watched some explicit comedy on TV. They both enjoyed it. A few things went over the younger ones head but the show was great. They brought thing together nicely at the end referring back to characters throughout. They also incorporated a improved song with suggestions from... More

Live sketch comedy. Very funny, sometimes naughty, so not for the kids. This will be the third time I have gone, the casts and the shows change over time, so it's always an adventure. Highly recommend it. Buy tickets in advance because it's always packed.

Seems like they have lost sight of what second city has been...funny. I've been to Toronto and Chicago second city shows dozens of times. This was beyond bad. It was simply stupid. There were brief moments of humour surrounded by long droughts of nothing. They tried some preachy politically correct skits, which would be fine IF THEY were FUNNY.

After watching the supposed comedy show at this place, I was perplexed by what comedy means by these guys. Why should there be so much vulgarity? The actors should do their homework to make sure what they are presenting is some real comedy and not some cheap stuff. I don't think any person with self-respect can bring their family or... More

Great experience. Improvisation at it's best and liked the set up with tables and table service for drinks and food. Great evening. There are 3 sections and the 3rd is true impro where they trial things - this part is obviously not as good as not rehearsed and seemed that a few people in the know left before this session.

We attended the 10 o clock showing. Quite a large crowd. We were seated promptly in the second balcony. Those at the rail could see better than us seated back a bit. They do offer drink and snack service and the waiters and waitresses were quick and attentive. The washrooms are on second floor and ladies as usual expect a... More

This was my first time there and overall I thought they did a great job. The service was good, the servers were good, the beer was good, ensemble was good, the stage production was good, bathroom was good. I did however feel very cramped in the uncomfortable setting, which because of laughing left me with a pretty bad backache.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
