We like to stroll through the gardens and explore some of the adjoining path. This month we happened upon groundhogs and weasels.

The parking and gardens are lit up evening into the night but watch out! If you stay after midnight you get a hefty ParkingTicket $100.00. The park may seem a good oasis but on a nice summer night you could get stung by a Toronto Cop! Then you go to court and ask for a trial because the parking and... More

This is my favourite place in the entirety of Toronto. I've gone to this garden since I was about 6 or 7 years old and it really feels like a separate place from the city. In the summer, the flowers are all in bloom and the entire area is pretty much a cultivated garden/field plus some wooded area. Great for... More

Nice garden. Close enough to downtown. Wear some walking shoes or sneakers to get there. Not a huge place, but not small either. Nice variety of plants, flowers, and cactus. There's nothing to eat on the grounds, but plenty of places surrounding it. Give yourself a couple hours to see everything, not counting relaxing on the park benches.

Nice walking trails and lovely gardens. Spotted lots of birds, chipmunks, squirrels and an unknown rodent. Watch out for cyclists who are not supposed to be on the walking trails.

This is a lovely spaces that spans for acres. Take a stroll in nature beside the brook. Continue on the trail for more excitement. Bikes are permitted. Bring a blanket for a picnic. There's lots of shade. It's busy in the summer with weddings and wedding photo shoots.

Edwards Garden is just north of Toronto in a really nice part of the city. It's surrounded by beautiful big houses. The garden itself is very well maintained and quite large. Many brides were having wedding pictures taken there. If you go on a weekend, parking maybe a challenge as its a popular spot. You'll also have to search a... More
